In June, we once again opened applications for our fantastic scholarship programme. This programme offers a number of full-time students attending ITC or Study From Home the chance to have up to $5,600 of their course fees completely covered by us.
This is our way of supporting both our hard-working students, and the industry we love that so desperately needs more qualified and passionate staff.
And so far, we’re over the moon to announce we have already awarded SEVEN scholarships to students. We had many excellent applications, but here are a few words from each of our winners so far about why they want to study with us and what their ultimate goals are.
Andrew
“I want a qualification and more knowledge about the travel industry. To get to know more about where I am heading for in the future. I want to be able to provide for my family and help my parents. I will be so happy and honoured if I do get the scholarship. Being able to pass Level 3 and 4 and get to be a flight attendant one day.”
Hitty
“I am passionate about traveling and exploring new places. I believe this course will enable me to offer excellent advice and customer service to clients who are passionate about traveling and require assistance. It will greatly help me get back on my feet after I have been a stay at home mother for 4 years. I want to learn the necessary skills by completing the travel and tourism courses and then dream of starting my own business in the next 3-4 years after gaining some experience with a reputable company.”

“I would love to gain helpful skills and knowledge which I can make use of in my pursuit to become a flight attendant. I think that winning this scholarship would greatly impact my life as it would be a huge stepping stone for me to become eligible to become a flight attendant. I would love to have a career that accommodates my passion for traveling and breaks out of the 9 to 5 daily office job.”

“ITC provides the top quality study, the course work integrates to the practical working environment very well. Therefore, the students know how the learning materials are practiced in the real world. I look forward to being a part of the booming tourism industry. Personally, I enjoy traveling, I would like to take this opportunity to get to know this industry properly, to study it systematically, as well as involve myself in this industry after graduating. My long term goal is to travel around the world. I am dreaming of exploring the whole of New Zealand in the near future.”

“It’s always been a dream of mine to study Travel and Tourism especially at ITC. The reason why I want to study at ITC is that I enjoy flying and traveling around. I also really admire how everyone works at the airport.”
“The first time I saw the advertisement or brochure of ITC was in High School at the Careers classroom. I even searched the program and ITC because I really liked seeing the flight attendants whenever I am traveling. I always tell myself that one day I will become a flight attendant and that is why I chose to study with ITC because I like how they have courses. I will try my best to put all my efforts into this course since it’s a childhood dream.”
“Now it’s my turn to become an inspiration to my younger siblings or those who need support to chase after their dream.”

“I want to study at ITC because I dream becoming a travel agent, so I want to study and learn more so that I can become one. It gives me more time to study and gain more knowledge without struggling with financial concerns. Being able to gain new skills and graduate so that I can get this dream job.”
Ilaisaane
“ITC has everything I need in order to explore all not just one part of the tourism industry but all elements of travel. Being one not to sit still, I would like (LOVE) to experience it ALL. The Scholarship will allow me to focus on academics to chase my dream and goals I’ve always desired.”
“This scholarship will help provide financial support for my future study and will help me further my professional training and certifications goals that I have set for myself and will in turn help me start a true career.”
