Helloworld launches Travel Academy with ITC & Study From Home

Helloworld, renowned NZ travel agency, has launched its own Travel Academy with ITC and Study From Home!

Many people in New Zealand already know about Helloworld Travel. These travel professionals help Kiwis to book everything from flights and hotels to cruises and full holiday packages.

Our graduates continue to land fantastic jobs there!

And now, Helloworld is doing even more for the travel industry. No longer just helping people book getaways, but helping employees to gain qualifications in the industry with the New Zealand Certificate in Travel (level 4). And it’s all happening with the help of ITC!

Helloworld launches level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Travel

In partnership with ITC and Study From Home, the Helloworld Travel Academy will start by offering a level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Travel.

Learners will be able to take the course entirely online from anywhere in New Zealand, but with professional support and guidance throughout the course thanks to ITC’s Study From Home team.

The goal is to provide valuable training and development for both existing employees in the Helloworld network, as well as for new employees.

Helloworld NZ General Manager Chris Hunter said they were thrilled with the launch.

“Our goal with this new initiative is to provide aspiring and current travel professionals with  the opportunity to ‘earn while they learn’, all while obtaining a recognised qualification in the industry. This program is not only designed to enhance their knowledge and skills but also to provide them with  practical experience, networking opportunities, and exposure to the latest technologies and trends in travel,” he added.

As well as the Certificate in Travel, the Travel Academy will also offer monthly training sessions for agents. These will cover everything from time management and supplier training to how to deal with challenging situations and mental health and resilience work. These sessions will help participants progress in their careers and ensure greater customer service for travellers.
