What sparked your interest in travel and tourism?
I’ve always wanted to work as a flight attendant, but studying at ITC has become an eye opener for me as they have shown me that the travel and tourism industry has more to offer and that there are also other jobs out there where you can travel too.
What are some perks in your new job?
Traveling perks are awesome, as well as discounts on accommodation and cars are a bonus!
What advice could you give to future ITC students?
It’s never too late to kickstart your career, it’s a huge industry and there’s always opportunities. Doesn’t matter what age you are, ‘you can do it’! My group ranged from 19 years to 50 years of age so it’s awesome to know that you are never alone!
What did you enjoy most about studying at ITC?
The support and how friendly the staff are, even though it took me 2 and a half years to get to where I am, the school gave myself and other students the motivation to step into the industry. I studied from home and thought it would be hard especially having 2 young kids at home, but with the support of my tutor I was able to complete my course. Also the awesome resources and being able to connect with other students online that were in similar circumstances to me really helped.
